MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT
INTRODUCTION
This statement applies to Tailor Associates (‘the Company’). The information included in the statement refers to the financial year 2025.

DEFINITIONS
The Company considers that modern slavery encompasses:

Human trafficking;

Forced work, through mental or physical threat;

Being owned or controlled by an employer through mental or physical abuse or the threat of abuse;

Being dehumanised, treated as a commodity or being bought or sold as property;

Being physically constrained or to have restriction placed on freedom of movement.
COMMITMENT
We are committed to acting ethically, and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We want to make sure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our business or its supply chains.
The Modern Slavery Act 2015 places businesses of a certain size under a legal obligation to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement each year. This requires an ongoing review of both its internal practices in relation to its labour force and, additionally, its supply chains.
Based on our annual turnover the Company is not currently legally required to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement. However, we are committed to the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking. Our Company does not enter into business with any other Company, in the United Kingdom or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour. The Company strictly adheres to the minimum standards required in relation to its responsibilities under relevant employment legislation in the United Kingdom.
BUSINESS STRUCTURE AND SUPPLY CHAINS
The Company provides IT solutions including, cybersecurity, cable infrastructure.
The location of the Company’s offices is in the United Kingdom.
The labour supplied by the Company in pursuance of its operation is wholly carried out in the United Kingdom.
Our supply chain mainly comprises professional services companies located in the United Kingdom, where Modern Slavery and Human Rights prevention practices are enforced by the Act. This reduces the Company’s exposure to modern slavery risks in these businesses. We carefully select suppliers to work with based on a number of factors, including their reputation with their industry and ethical practices. We will not do business with anyone who we believe is unable to meet the standards we expect. We do not tolerate unethical behaviours by our suppliers in relation to slavery or human trafficking and we would react promptly and effectively to any potential risks.
RISK ASSESSMENT
In general, the Company considers its exposure to slavery/human trafficking to be relatively limited. Nonetheless, it has taken steps to ensure that such practices do not take place in its business nor the business of any Company that supplies goods and/or services to it. We conduct a basic assessment of our suppliers to identify any potential risks of modern slavery, focusing on:

Suppliers in regions with higher reported incidences of forced labour.

DUE DILIGENCE, TRAINING AND POLICIES
The Company carries out due diligence processes in relation to ensuring slavery and/or human trafficking does not take place in its Company or supply chains by:

Complying with UK laws relating to modern slavery and human trafficking.

Acting ethically in all business dealings.

Encouraging suppliers to adopt ethical practices.
All employees are informed of this policy as part of their onboarding. The Company provides induction training on recognising Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking in the workplace. Our employees are encouraged to identify any issues or concerns they have to a manager and this is communicated during the onboarding process. If this is not possible or a higher level of confidentiality is required, we have a Whistleblowing Policy in place to enable employees to confidentially raise any matter.
MONITORING AND REVIEW
The Company has not, to its knowledge, conducted any business with another Company which has been found to have involved itself with modern slavery.
We will continue to embed our principles and approach through conducting supplier due diligence on our suppliers. We will aim to improve reporting on modern slavery actions and outcomes and comply with all new laws and regulations. We will continue to train our employees upon joining on modern slavery risks and prevention and also ensure employees are aware of our Modern Slavery Statement.
This statement is made in pursuance of Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will be reviewed for each financial year.
